MG Motor has unveiled its first-ever pure electric vehicle, the MG ZS EV.

Due to arrive in showrooms in 2020 the MG ZS EV will benefit from a 7 Year/ 160 000 km vehicle and 7 year battery warranty as well as a practical 8 colour infotainment touchscreen, Apple and Android connectivity as well a large boot and panoramic stargazer roof.

The MG ZS EV is highly practical, with large boot space, 8” colour touchscreen, integrated Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, six-speaker surround sound audio, and satellite navigation. The model also features the model’s desirable Panoramic Stargazer Sunroof, one of the largest in the segment.

MG ZS EV customers can also enjoy an impressive driving range of up to 371 kilometres from a single charge*, and benefit from the vehicle’s three driving modes, Eco, Normal and Sport, allowing the car to adapt to their everyday driving needs.

Powered by a 44.5kWh, water-cooled, lithium-ion battery, the ZS EV delivers 353Nm of instant torque and 105kW of power. The great news is charging up for the next adventure can be done in just 40 minutes from a 50kW rapid charging point (to 80%), while owners can fully charge their vehicles in seven hours with a standard 7kW charger unit.
